Sail Date: Feb 2020
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

This is my first sailing on the Coral Princess (1,970 passengers) and I just loved it. It is the sister ship to the Island Princess which is also one of my favorite ships. The ship was recently refurbished and it looks it. New carpets, furniture, flooring, etc. You would never know the ship is almost 20 years old.

The size of the ship is just perfect and you do not wait long for an elevator, unlike the massive Majestic Princess. We had the usual great outstanding servers in the dining room and our hangout at Crooner’s Bar on Deck 6. We could not have asked for a better room steward who was so quick and efficient. Our room was always spotless.

We were on the ship (February 2020) with a group of eight others. We all agreed that the food was the best that we have ever had. We had three formal nights and on each of those nights we had lobster on the menu, which is my favorite. The Chef clearly takes great command of the kitchen and it was appreciated.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Our room was a mini suite and it was beautiful. Since we are Elite Members we arrived to a fully stocked bar and fridge which is a nice treat. They have added a USB port to one of the newly added lights which was helpful for charging. The bedding was so comfortable you did not want to get up. The old small televisions have been removed and two flat screens put on the wall which is a nice update. The room was in great, great shape!
