Because NCL hasn’t told anyone this, Margaritaville is longer existent on this ship, and we booked in February (it was removed before we even booked).
We tried to upgrade rooms and had no help from Norwegian or the website although we kept getting emails to upgrade. Our cruise rep, Brandon, was supposed to call us the day before and did not. So we made attempts the day before sailing and the day of departure to contact him with no success. We tried to ask at the terminal but the woman was so rude and rushed us through she wouldn’t let us ask questions.
Our stateroom was wrong and not what we booked. We also were supposed to have a cake in the room which we never received.
When we first arrived on the ship, the cabin was setup wrong from what we ordered. We booked a king bed balcony room, when we arrived it was two twin beds! Michelle (our stewards) came right to the room and fixed it for us!
We had a problem with the sink in the bathroom draining, so Michelle called
maintenance and they came right up and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes!
The stateroom Itself was very nice and always kept clean!! The housekeeping department was the best part of the whole cruise! The hardest working and most friendliest staff!!
We did a excursion in Belize which was of a chocolate farm and Mayan culture tour! It was a great day, very educational but fun at the same time! Shanna and another gentleman were our tour guides and they made the day great!!
Costa maya was our favorite stop! They have some many options right at the port that I would suggest not doing a single excursion that day! They have two pools with swim up bars, many shops, great restaurants! It was a great day!
