There was plenty of storage space and room for electrical equipment such as a laptop, chargers, and hearing aids.

The shower was very small, but it was serviceable.

We went to Cathedrale Saint Louis de Fort-de-France modeled after the Sacre Coeur in Paris. The Depaz Distillery allowed us to see their vats. Their tasting room was very disappointing with a limit of two thimble-sized drinks per person. The rum was nothing extraordinary. Puerto Rican or Jamaican rums are far better.
Last, we visited the museum that destroyed St. Pierre in 1902. There were artifacts showing the destructiveness of the explosion and refusal to heed the warnings the volcano was demonstrating for a week before the town was destroyed and 30,000 people were killed. Nothing has been restored or rebuilt in 120 years. 

The beautiful Diamond Botanical Garden housed numerous tropical plants as well as the Diamond Waterfall. Our guide, Kelvin, was extremely knowledgeable and filled in information that was not posted on the signs throughout the garden.

We had a dreadful buffet lunch of Caribbean dishes, most of which I did not eat, La Morne French Creole estate.

We took a catamaran to a resort area and swam at the beach before sailing back through picturesque Marigot Bay to Castries accompanied by rum punch and reggae music.  My husband and I were the only couple that danced surprising everyone aboard the vessel.
