As our cruise date approached, I was a little nervous about going on the Serenade of the Seas by Royal Caribbean. We had been mostly on larger ships and the information I was ready on the blogs made me wonder if we had made a mistake. We were pleasantly surprised and as always when we sail on Royal Caribbean totally happy with our decision!

Embarkation and disembarkation went as smooth as silk. Very quick and very efficient.

Although a smaller ship the Serenade offered everything we were looking for and more. The ship has been well maintained and although she showed her age slightly in some areas was beautiful. The Serenade does not have all the bells and whistles for the kids but for a family looking for a relaxing vacation it should be considered.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

The cabin was clean and the view fantastic.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Fort Lauderdale was a good starting point for our vacation. Plenty of options for hotels and lots to do. The airport and the port terminal were easy to access.

Labadee

Even though it rained the day we were there it was still a great day. Used the beach umbrella to keep the rain drops off of us instead of the sun, but the view was beautiful.

San Juan

We walked around the city and had lunch at the place that originally created the Pina Colada. All very good.
