So many problems due to one cause

Review for Africa Cruise on MSC Orchestra

• We got the impression that the ship was over capacity, as it was almost impossible to get to the food stations or even get a table at the buffets at mealtimes, due to the sheer quantity of guests.

• The embarkation and disembarkation processes were tedious and frustrating due to the number of people that had to be checked in and the added admin overhead of filling in health questionnaires because of the Corona virus.

• Once onboard the ship after embarkation, there was a distinct lack of direction or guidance in terms of where to go while waiting for rooms to be readied and when the announcement came that the rooms where ready, it was difficult to find exactly where these rooms where.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

The cabin was adequate - nice to have a balcony, the views were quite spectacular at times. However, there was a problem with the door lock and though we reported it many times, it was not attended to.

The bathroom is very small and the shower in particular can be troublesome for tall people (I'm 1.96m tall and wasn't really able to lift my arms in the shower...)
