March 7-17 (2020), we were on the Island Princess for a 10 day Panama Canal Cruise. Due to weather conditions and of course the coronavirus situation, we were not allowed to dock at most of our ports! We were able to do the turn around through the canal and it was awesome! Island Princess was the last Princess Cruise ship at sea until their 60 day suspension is over. The captain and crew were very professional, worked tirelessly and under the circumstances, did everything they could to accommodate us and keep us informed. They all should be commended for their work!! The crew and (most) passengers, made the most of a very difficult situation!

With all said, we had a great time and would definitely cruise again with Princess! In fact, while still on board, we put down a deposit for a future cruise. We’re thinking Alaska again next year and maybe Antarctica in 2022.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Very nice size cabin. Comfortable bed and pillows and nice sitting area. 2 flat screen TVs. Nice size balcony as well.
