Whilst we agree with a lot of the comments made about the Ventura. Some of the guests hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. Ignoring hand sanatisers on many occasions. In the buffet restaurant we saw on many occasions passengers blowing their nose & coughing into the blue serviettes & putting them back on the table. Men walking into the buffet area with no tops on. Filling water bottles from the dispenser, even though there is a large sign on the dispenser stating that this should not be done for hygiene reasons. All of this was happening when we knew coronavirus was beginning to get much worse worldwide.
We have cruised with P &O on many occasions, but this is the 1st time on the Ventura & we were very disappointed with the ship. But all of the crew were excellent.
Yes, P&O do need to up their game, but some of the faults are with the passengers & not the company.
Excellent cabin girl, but cabin could do with a refurb
very disappointed, not what we were expecting. Arrived the day after Mardi Gras & everywhere was dirty, lots of rubbish & people affected by drugs. The following day the streets were cleaner. We expected a friendly atmosphere with jazz music being played in the bars etc. Reality it was very seedy.
Itinerary was changed from Nassau, wish the change hadn’t been made. Freeport has a purpose built cruise area & nothing else
Lovely place, very friendly and clean. We would go back
Took an independent excursion, brilliant
Lovely place would definitely go back
Been to Barbados before, love it
