We chose this cruise because we were celebrating a late honeymoon and babymoon. On the positive side the rooms were nice, we reserved a concierge class balcony with a nice view, most of the entertainment was good, and the excursions were fabulous.

We typically opted for the more expensive inclusive excursions and they were well worth the money. We had a wonderful experience in Athens Greece, we did the acropolis, museum and lunch included. It was wonderful! The food was amazing at the museum, we were served a 5 course meal at lunch time, all typical Greek foods. One after another each dish was AMAZING. I cant say anything bad about the excursions.

However, we are foodies and cook at home all the time. The food on the boat was pretty terrible. We even tried to go to the specialty restaurants, the fine cut steakhouse, hoping it would be better but wow it was also gross. I am in just complete amazement how they could screw up simple things like tator tots, french fries, and steak. Seriously, the steak was all stringy and tasted awful. Like it was microwaved or something. And it was supposed to be filet mignon??? The tator tots were mushy and tasted AWFUL. We had one meal after another just like this. Terrible. Especially since we paid extra for a package of $500 worth of supposed fine dining experiences. The salads were composed of wilted lettuce and rotten moldy tomatoes and super gross dressing. EWWW. I noticed many other tables too, where the patrons were not eating their food. We than dined on land any time we could to escape the slop on the boat.

The room was comfortable and had a nice patio to view the ports.
