We took the last Med cruises of the season, then did B2B with the transatlantic crossing, for a total of 25 nights. The only negative in the ship design is that there is no forward-facing observation deck. For me, that was a big deal. We also made the mistake of booking a traditional balcony cabin, thinking we would have connecting balconies with our travel companions. Turned out they weren't connecting. That mistake was on me. Prices in the logo shop were outrageous. Polo shirts at $95, and tee shirts at $90. I've been told that Celebrity is rethinking their pricing strategy. There are 6 or 7 high-end jewelry stores, none of which ever seemed to have any customers. Some of those spaces could have been used for a card room or a library. Now, for the positives. We loved the 4 main restaurants, rotating between them each night. It almost felt that we were eating in a specialty restaurant each night. We ate in Le Petit Chef one night. A bit pricey, but so much fun.The staterooms are roomy with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was the largest we've experienced, with a much bigger shower than on other ships. We enjoyed relaxing and having drinks with our travel companions in Eden. There are a number of seating nooks with great views over the ship's stern. Another plus is that the casino is smoke-free. The Edge has the fanciest and most comfortable tenders we've ever seen. Also, the Destination Gateway, where you board and disembark the tenders, is truly steps ahead of any other cruise ship. The theater has excellent site lines with all the latest technologies. All-in-all, a beautiful ship, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on board.
