We went on the recent Coral Expeditions Great Barrier Reef & Coral Sea Expedition cruise out of Cairns and were highly impressed with it. This was Coral Expeditions first voyage since March.

Our main aim was to get out snorkelling on the reef and the trip provided plenty of opportunities on amazing reefs. The passengers were a blend of ages. The cruise had something for everyone, whether snorkelling, diving, going on island walks or just enjoying being at sea.

The Company’s staff from the Booking office to the crew gave friendly and professional service. Any Covid concerns were allayed by the Company’s Sailsafe plan which ensured all passengers and crew were tested prior to departure and sensible onboard hygiene procedures were in place.

We had never been on cruise and were initially apprehensive about the experience but the friendly unpretentious onboard atmosphere dispelled any fears.

We would recommend a Coral Expeditions cruise
