First Mediterranean cruise, I've been on 10 total cruises. Service was great staff was friendly, restaurant staff was friendly and entertaining and was really involved in keeping our young children smiling. Food was ...ok... nothing special, still was better than you'd get at the drive thru. This was right at the beginning of COVID-19 in Italy, MSC was quick to respond on board and a clean ship became an even cleaner ship. Temp checks at every port when you got back onboard, and seriously cleaning of public areas. The buffet quickly transitioned to served food instead of self serve. We were impressed with the responsiveness of their crew. First time getting an interior room, I don't feel we would do that again, it really messed with our sleep cycles combined with Jetlag. MSC is definitely on my short list when we can travel again except this time we will get the ocean view stateroom.
