The summer of 2019 was my first time cruising and I was super excited because I was constantly just watching videos of previous cruisers for the ship I was boarding(MSC Armonia) and it was all good reviews but I wanted to experience it for myself! From the moment I stepped from the port to the deck of the ship the staff was just so pleasant and kind!

Upon arriving to our room the size was decent for an ocean view cabin for up to four w porthole (there were two beds overhead that fold away and two standard beds that could be joined together to form a queen size), the room keepers were always on point and making sure we were stocked enough on towels and fresh bed sheets and pillow cases), after getting settled I decided to roam around the ship so I made stops at all the youth areas(the daycare was the cutest of all the spaces) but of course standard there were the different areas based on the different ages. There was also a nightclub meant to be 18+ that had dance parties on certain nights, a regular adult center with easy access to the gift shop, a full wrap around casino and an entertainment area area in the center of the ship to watch performers and singers. Shifting away from the entertainment, the food the first few days I was there took me aback because I had never seen so much different options and variety but once being settled especially on the days we were at sea it just became a regular sight for me. Starting with the buffet there was the pizza station, the grilled station, and the main section serving carved meats, different breads, pastas, salads, baked foods and everything you could think to eat based on the certain time of day(i.e for breakfast omelette bar, fruit bar, different cereals, yogurts, coffees, waffles, pancakes....) there was an ice cream outside near the pool and their ice cream was free. There were five bars, a cigar room, library and four other restaurants the main being(Marco polo for sit down evening dinner) one thing I must say I enjoyed both the sit down dinner and the buffet, the sit down dinner had a new menu every night so that variety was nice however although you get used to the buffet after a couple of days it was still nice that they offered late night dining especially after you enjoy the shows every night, which brings me to my next topic. There was a two level theater that gave entrances from both the second floor of the ship and the first floor of the ship( I forgot what the floor numbers are) Every night there was a new performance ranging from different things such as the Addams family and the last night that we were there it was a very beautiful show because all the main crew members(such as managers and directors) were introduced and brought out based on the country they came from and their job onboard while singing “We Are The World” one fun perk was that where the theater was located there was a cafe less than 1000 feet away where you could enter the theater with your beverage and free cookies before the start of the show. Directing back to the outside of the ship there was the main pool of course, another pool and two jacuzzis a kids splash and play area with a tv and two of the bars were outside and the ice cream shop. There were tons of lounge areas on the deck and a dance space that came alive in the evening. There was a gym of course with free membership for 18+ and under 18+ required an adult signature, there was a nail salon, hair salon and spa as well. For the final days on the ship there were photographers all around the ship and if anyone wants to print their pictures it’s anywhere between $20-$40 for the images you wish to print(there is an area on the ship dedicated to all the photos and prints ranging from the captains dinner images, first night images, all white dinner images and many more). Finally to wrap it all up the ship stood at a whopping 13 decks, a golf stimulator, solarium and basketball courts, mini golf, shuffleboard and volleyball nets, a walking/running track, vitamin bar, massage rooms, a separate movie theater with free popcorn, and two shopping areas! Overall this was a very pleasant experience for me and my family and I can’t wait to see which cruise I review next!
