IT WAS AN AUSTRALIAN SHIP, TRAVELLING IN AUSTRALIAN WATERS- "THE WILD ISLANDS OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA."
The staff including the ship's master and senior crew were so obliging and friendly at all times: nothing was too much trouble. The itinerary was different. The ship was so clean and strict safety protocols were followed all the time but never in an intrusive manner. The chefs did an amazing job catering for every dietary requirement and delivered excellent variety of meals. The daily expeditions were safely executed and plenty of land based activity was offered everyday. I loved the oyster shucking at Coffin Bay and the abalone presentation by EyreWoolf on Flinders Island and learning about the areas/ islands discovered and named by Matthew Flinders back in the early 1800's. The housekeeping team did a great job with the presentation and cleaning of every spacious cabin and common areas. I have only two complaints and they are trivial. The paperwork to prove you are Covid safe was very repetitive,as was the safety brief that needed to be acknowledged before swimming and snorkelling activity, and there is no espresso machine on board whereby a barista could make a decent coffee. The automatic machines cater for one type of milk and seeing I don't like dairy based milks.... I had 10 days without a decent coffee.
I thoroughly recommend Coral Expeditions if this is the standard that they offer from their company.

Spacious and plenty of hanging space with clothes hangers, excellent products as guest toiletries, cabins cleaned thorough once a day and refreshed later in the afternoon/ early evening with fresh towels etc. No door locking on the cruise was a bit unsettling at first but it soon became something that one did not even think about.
