Because of a great interest in American History we chose this cruise. Embarking on the ship in Baltimore Harbor was easy, as was check in. Covid testing was performed by a medical professional before anyone was allowed to board the ship. Our cabin was roomy, as was the bathroom. Room service was twice a day. The dining room served excellent food, with local fare being highlighted. Alcoholic beverages were readily available upon request. The itinerary featured important areas of the revolution including Norfolk, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Annapolis. The size of the ship allowed docking close to points of interest. Because of Covid restrictions some of the areas visited were not open. Our onboard lecturer was excellent. He covered appropriate history, but also gave presentations that enhanced better understanding of each port of call. Different entertainers were brought on board during the cruise as well. Ten days is an appropriate length of time to explore many of the sites around the Chesapeake Bay.
