We are currently on the boat going from Memphis to New Orleans and couldn’t be happier. Five stars on all counts: the ship, the service, entertainment, food, and included excursions. First of all, the ship itself is beautiful! Every public space and the cabins are well thought out. The grand lounge and bar area has big windows providing a great view of the river. It’s a wonderful space to gather and meet other guests. Without exception, the staff has been professional and friendly. The singers and the house band are top notch. The food has been surprisingly varied, tasty and beautifully presented. The included excursions are informative and well done.

Two years ago we took a river cruise on the Columbia and Snake rivers with American Cruise Lines. Our experience with American Queen Steamboat Company is 100 times better. We’ve already booked an Alaska cruise with AQSC’s sister ship line on the Ocean Victory for next summer.
