When I read the only other (terrible) review of this Cruise I thought the reviewer was exaggerating the bad points, but having been on this ship for 4 days now I can only endorse everything that has already been said.
First, the good points - the crew are lovely, very friendly and keep the ship very clean and tidy. And er…… that’s it.
Everything else is a disaster.
Cabin Review
Straight from the 1980’s. Cheap veneer and poor bathroom layout. Quite spacious though and lots of storage space. Beware - if you are in the deluxe balcony cabins towards the front of the ship, or those on the decks below you are directly under the lifeboats that are used to tender ashore. When anchored in port you will be woken around 7am by the most horrendous noise while they lower these boats to the water. The first time it happened we thought the world was about to end outside our balcony. No warning from the ship that this was about to happen
