Background, wife and I are longtime cruiser almost exclusively with Royal Caribbean. We are a young (60) year old couple that enjoy life to its fullest and were celebrating our (40) year wedding anniversary. Like most, we were a bit reserved about cruising during the pandemic. However, we are both vaccinated and healthy.

A specific reason we chose this cruise was the requirement that all guest and crew that could be vaccinated were required to show proof of vaccination or they could not board the ship. We reside in Florida with many port options. However our Governor has decided mandating showing proof of vaccination violates his executive order thus allows mixing vaccinated with unvaccinated guest (during a pandemic) if you sail from a Florida port - incredible but true.
