COVID

It was our seventh cruise since the beginning of the pandemic, so we already know the new reality on cruise ships. This time I had the impression that there were too many people on board. Although the capacity is actually still limited to 70%, I did not notice that. The ship was full as before the pandemic. It is again necessary to book a seat in the theater a day before and in the evening it is difficult to find a free table in the bars. Obviously nobody cares about social distancing in the elevators and public areas anymore, because it is simply impossible with so many passengers. Nevertheless, it must be emphasized that most of the people on the ship were already fully vaccinated. Msc is clearly planning to make vaccinations compulsory. At the moment on Msc Seaview only vaccinated people can go ashore on their own,. Also more and more of the Msc excursions require a Covid green pass. I hope that cruising will become an exclusive privilege of vaccinated people very soon.
