I selected this cruise because the route sounded interesting and it was all I could find last January. BIG MISTAKE !!! This ship reminded me of something you would find plying the Volga River in about 1975. Outdated and never up dated is the name of the cruise. Ship built in 2005 and not maintained very well. The staff for the most part were kids that had no idea what their job was. The food, if the waitress got the order right, was nothing special. The sight seeing tours were a spur of the moment affairs. Happy Hour was good and the hors d'oeuvres were fantastic (??? ). For what you got the price should have been 1/3 of what was charged. Stay away from the American Spirit and be real careful of booking anything with American Cruise Lines, they are a second rate cruise line and there are way better cruises available for half the price.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAL

Old, outdated, forget the TV only channel that worked well was AMC, the bed was okay and the bathroom had a big shower in it ( for a cruise ship ).
