I'm kind of a romantic, every mild stone wedding anniversary event I surprise my spouse with a vacation to a location that fits into moment. For example the Milestone for 30th wedding anniversary is pearl so I surprised my wife with a vacation to Oahu, Hawaii (Pearl Harbor). The milestone 40th wedding anniversary is the ruby stone so my search and imagination of the vacation to identify the monument began. Our Daughter who had been on several cruises kept bringing up cruises and how we would enjoy the vacation experience. May 2021 with the hope for having a 2021 cruise season opening, web search engines brought me to Princess cruises and behold one of their ships is named, "Ruby Princess ". Although the Ruby Princess itinerary was not available the only itinerary at the time was Alaska with Princess Cruises. The Majestic Princess would become our opening to Cruise vacation world and we had a wonderful experience. I will quote the ship’s Captain as he ended each day with his announcement. We had a wonderful anniversary celebration aboard the, “Magnificent Majestic Princess'“.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The Cabin met our needs and the balcony was a plus for the itinerary of Alaska. On the ship we were on deck 9 Dolphin deck Mid Aft. Couple days on our itinerary the seas were a little rough but in this selection the Cabin was stable with motion. The Cabin was clean and sanitized daily every morning then the steward would pass through in the evening. Our Steward not sure if I can mention names but Warren was awesome. With 3 people although the cabin met our needs we may look into upgrading to a deluxe suite, just to provide a little more room. We spent some time in our Cabin playing board and card games so with more people a larger cabin may be a future option.
