I chose this cruise because it required double vaccination for all guests over 18, PCR tests before departure, mask wearing and reduced capacity. I found the systems in place very reassuring and felt safe being onboard a ship with 1600 other guests, despite mostly staying away from crowds for the last 16 months. The new style muster 2.0 on phones is a massive improvement and reduced the need to stand around for ages, I really hope this remains post pandemic. Booking for events in the app is also a good way to plan your day and reduce congestion.
Sailing around the UK is not something I would normally go for (British weather) but that said I had a lovely time with lots of activities to do and the ports of call were interesting and in different parts of the North, away from Southampton. As always the food was lovely on the ship, with excellent services and an almost normal feel.
I am glad I went on the cruise and it felt like normal
This was a lovely spacious junior suit designed for up to 4 guests. As such it had two toilets, one just with a sink and one with the bath and overhead shower. With lots of people in the room this can be useful. The extra space in comparison to a balcony was very nice and the coffee machine with refill coffee pods was a great addition for this cold weather cruise.
The people were lovely and is was nice to be able to walk straight into the place from the ship. It was easy to get further away if you wanted to also.
Fantastic place to stop. Gate way to the highlands with lots of lovely options to explore. Small interest place the port itself with lovely murals on the walls of buildings. Went to Cawdor Castle for the day.
