I should start this review by explaining that we have only ever cruised with Regent, Seabourn and Silversea before (and once in Cunard queens grill never to be repeated) so we have judged Viking by the standard we have become accustomed to on these cruise lines.

This cruise was advertised in an email we received but not on the Viking web site and our travel agent advised (after calling Viking) we were unable to book it till the following week? Why advertise it if bookings are not available?

Once booked we were able to complete guest details and book 1 excursion early on MVJ but the specialty restaurant menus were not available for the chefs table so we booked a couple of tables blind.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience sailing with us, John. While we regret to learn aspects of your cruise did not meet expectation, we appreciate you sharing the snags...
