My wife and I are regular cruisers... other thst 2020, we go on at least 1, if not two cruises per year. We also prefer 10 to 16 day cruises. So when my wife's friend asked us to join her on her first cruise to Alaska, we said yes. Then she said it was on Carnival. We did some research and decided we would give them another try. We have had some TERRIBLE experiences on Carnival, and especially on the Miracle.
Our thought was that after nearly 2 years of down time, it had to be better...right... It was!
Two weeks before the cruise, my wife's friend got cold feet when the news got on the subject of the Delta variant of Covid 19. She cancelled and surprisingly got all her money back. Even though we already had a cruise booked over Christmas, we decided, that we should still go... and I'm glad we did.
We didn't see the glacier... was windy and foggy so we elected not to go on the excusion to the glacier.
Rainy and cold... we went to a crab shack for lunch... made the beat of it. Mother nature's fault not the cruise line.
Great weather, beautiful day
Beautiful ride on white pass railway.
