After a wait of about 18 months, we chose this cruise as we weren't interested in a staycation and we wanted to experience a bit of warm sunshine. This ticked both boxes. The ship is looking great, crew were continually wiping down surfaces. You had to wear a mask whilst on the move bit if anyone didn't or just simply forgot ( I was guilty of that a few times ) , they gave a polite reminder and handed you as mask of you didn't have on on you. Windjammer was only open for breakfast and lunch. This was understandable as to open it at night with so few guests would have wasted an awful lot of food. I did miss it at night as I prefer casual dining and 7 nights in the MDR was not really to my liking. Production shows were OK, but only one per evening at 9:45.

We did have one unfortunate incident. My wife and I went to Guest Services to get a printout of our account and when we arrived there was no queue at all and so were were asked forward by a young female representative. I won't embarrass her by naming her but it I do believe she is in need of a wee bit more training. Just as I was asking her to print off our account , this woman appeared out of nowhere, barged past my wife , knocking her to the ground in the process and began screaming that she had an urgent issue. To my surprise, the representative then started to deal with her instead of telling her that she would have to wait her turn. This woman's urgent issue ? - she couldn't work the internet on her phone. My wife ( who is 64 ) was wearing a white face mask . When she got up off the floor we saw a patch of blood forming on her face mask. Turned out that she had bitten her tongue when she fell but the woman who barged into her didn't even acknowledge what she had done and the young representative just froze. I, as you can imagine was anything but happy. I asked the representative to call security but she didn't. She suggested I take my wife to the medical centre. By this time a colleague arrived and he dealt with the other woman. The girl I was dealing with then handed me my printout and told me to have a good day. Nothing was said or done to the woman who knocked my wife down. She completely got off with it. Hardly what I would otherwise expect from Royal Caribbean.
