Sail Date: Aug 2021

We sailed Back-2-Back on the Carnival Breeze from Galveston on 26 Aug to 4 Sept. We had a balcony (12042) on the 12th Deck, a great location close to the pool, Serenity area and Cloud 9 Spa, and the Dive-In movies. The balcony is not covered. Your cabin is serviced only once a day, ice is filled twice a day. The virtual muster drill is very easy, and the ship is beautiful.

Traveling with less than 50% passenger capacity on both cruises, the ship was super clean and elevators were easy to catch. Most people wore masks where required. All of the crew members were very friendly and glad to see us. QR Codes are used for all menus and many services. The Hub App is very useful for finding the hours of eating & entertainment venues, seeing what activities are happening and when, and making dining reservations.

The Sapphire Dining Room (My Time) had delicious food, quick service and wonderful servers. We also enjoyed Cucina del Capitano, Guy’s Burgers, the Smokehouse, Sea Day Brunch, the Deli, and Blue Iguana Cantina. “88 Keys” was our favorite production show. Carnival required that we take a COVID test onboard the day before our first cruise was over. We were delighted to be Negative. Our transition between the 2 cruises was easy, as the staff escorted us to Immigration, and then back on the ship where we had the whole day to enjoy, after taking a group photo in the Atrium.
