Took this then found it’s a very popular picture

My husband booked this mini seacation as it was such good value. Southampton a couple of hours away so all good.

COVID testing process at the port nightmare for us and quite a few others. They check your vaccination details against your ID whilst in the very long queue! However, my NHS app wouldn’t load so we got pulled out of the mahoosive queue to get it sorted. It took about 10 minutes Before I could finally get the app working, but once cleared to rejoin the queue, we were ignored by the guy doing the directing. I had to go speak to 2 different people and after a further 20 mins we joined the queue to get tested. Took 1hr 20 mins to get through. TIP: TAKE A PAPER COPY OF YOUR COVID VACCINE INFO!

Thankfully, the valet parking and check-in were a breeze. Finally getting on board at 3.15, we went for food and drink, after which we went to the cabin where our luggage was waiting.

Cabin Review

Balcony

We had a balcony, rather small but adequate for 2. Furniture comfy

Room nice size, although no sofa seating, just a chair. Bed comfy but awful pillows. Far too plump but as soon as your head hits they squish to nothing. No support whatsoever. TIP:TAKE YOUR OWN IF YOU CAN

Liked the separation of the hanging space from the bedroom and tons of room for clothes if you’re on a longer trip. Good size safe. Bathroom small but again, totally adequate.
