one of 1st available, I was really looking to get back to cruising & was really disapointed in some of the cost cutting by Carnival, ie; no longer providing next day's Activities sheet delivered to your cabin (you had to hunt to find one at various places around the ship), cabin steward service only done once a day, no ice cream at buffet (only soft serve machine), no crackers/croutons anywhere near soup at buffet, worst available tv choices I've ever encountered on a cruise ship (no news, except biased CBS news feed that looped all day long, no Fox, Cnn, give us a choice, please, only pay per view movies OR TCM, and a few channels I would never watch at home), food at buffet was mediocre at best & they shut down service at buffet way too early, probably the last Carnivel cruise for me, - The ship itself was fantastic, its a shame Carnival has to detract from overall cruise experience by their nickel & dimeing things you come to expect from a cruise line, such as: bath towels that felt like sandpaper (a little fabric softener would go a long way), toilet paper was also like sandpaper (sorry, TMI??), went off ship & purchased REAL 2-ply - embarkation was worst I've experience (over 20 cruises), Carnivel let us know that we would be 3 hrs late getting on (from 11:30/12 to 2:30/3PM), we did not get on ship until 5:30 pm, disembarkation was almost as chaotic

Cabin Review
