Since my husband and I had to cancel a planned vacation to the UK, I decided to finally book a Celebrity cruise. I've not cruised in a while and was impressed their reputation. We chose the Millennium sailing to Alaska. We found no fault with the ship itself. Even our inside cabin was much more spacious than we imagined. The crew was friendly and I think they were all smiling behind their facemasks. :-) It was assuring to see every area was kept close to spotless. Though there were 800 or fewer passengers, we didn't notice any skimping or cancelling of daily events. This light census has us spoiled though with no waiting in line and no waiting at the elevator too.

One of the first nights, at the early seating for the entertainment, the comedian was being heckled by 3 couples sitting in the first row. Keep in mind that we had at the most, 100 people in the audience all spread out. Instead of ignoring them, the comedian engaged them in conversation and attempted to put them in their place. If he would have stayed away from them and kept to another area of the stage I think all would have been well. I heard people around us saying how he should just keep quiet and conversations matching our own feeling of frustration and discomfort. On top of this tension, he was not funny at all. Finally the cruise director came out to end it and put us out of our misery but was waved off for just one more joke.

The only entertainment we enjoyed was the magician and best of all the aerial acrobatics. Top notch!
