Sail Date: Sep 2021

We wanted to sail on the Mardi Gras, since it was new and sounded fabulous. We were scheduled on the Panorama twice before getting cancelled. Third time scheduling a cruise the charm!

Mardi Gras is big and spacious. Our stateroom was standard with lots of closet space and USB ports. We were on deck 15 right below the Lido. At night it was very noisy, as it seemed they were moving furniture all night.

New Carnival Hub gets getting used to. I didn't like having to carry my cell phone around all the time and look at menu's on the phone.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Great shopping and restaurants. Pool area is very nice.

San Juan

San Juan is always good. We had tour of Bacardi Rum Factory cancelled (probably due to Covid).
