Port Canaveral
Balcony Room on Starboard side.
The room looks a little smaller comparing it to other Carnival Ships. There is more usable space in this room than other balcony rooms. Closets are great, more hanging storage, more shelfs, unique pull-out drawers even one for shoes. Bathroom; every bit as much usable space yet a little smaller. Shower door makes a lot of difference. The two shelves on wall and storage space below provide plenty of room for toiletries. AC delivery comes out above the bed facing the opposite wall much appreciated by DW who doesn’t like a breeze. The couch that converts to a single bed for additional guest is two deep for comfortable seating but functions well for quick place to set for short time. The cabinet space is laid out well. Underneath is a seat that will convert into a table to use in front of the couch. There are 3 undercounter drawers, and a refrigerator that works good. Now we come to the sliding doors accessing the balcony. Great easy to open and large handle that interfaces with the AC. Nothing difficult to understand, picture above it explains that if door is left open the AC will shut off. The curtains pull past the doorjamb having a good light darkening affect. Balcony is different, the rail that use to be teak wood is now plastic with an inward slant and it is about 1”-2” taller than previous rails. The chairs and table were the new fashion and worked well in the space provided.
