After several cancelled bookings we decided to take this cruise after seeing many sail without any issues. The safety protocols did not detract from the cruise and I applaud the level of detail they have gone to in order to keep everyone safe. We were not permitted to leave the boat in St. Maarten without taking a Celebrity guided tour--but no big deal since the ship was only 38% capacity--plenty of room to enjoy time on board. (The interesting thing was RCCL ships were permitted to tour on their own in that port--we were not?)

What truly made this cruise stand out was the cheerfulness of the crew. Everyone was happy, smiling and very engaging--loved it! The only critique I have on the ship is the design of the Martini bar---way too small--needs to be at least 330 degrees. Most seats faced away from the entertainment. I like the design on the Solstice class ships much better. The second critique is the music at the atrium. They rotated two acoustical groups, which were very good---but not very upbeat. The atrium was pretty dead the entire time other than when the DJ or the silent disco was happening. The atrium is a great area--but let's make it a bit more upbeat.

We sailed on a Concierge infinite balcony --some pro's and some cons as I'm sure you've all read about--but overall a beautiful room. The food was absolutely amazing--the best we have had on any of our 25+ cruises. Each dining room is a unique experience--like getting specialty dining for free. And Raw on 5, wow, food and staff was amazing!!!

Cabin Review

Concierge Class Stateroom with Veranda

Room was great--extremely clean--like new. The space for hanging long dresses etc. was a bit tight--only half the area of the Solstice ships.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Many stores downtown were closed (temporarily or permanently due to pandemic). The day we were there it was like a ghost town--1 boat at port.
