Wow this is quite a ship. From the moment you walk up the gangway you're on something different. It's a high tech wonder with automatic lights and window shade in your cabin. Hands free washroom doors. Elevators that glow green when going up and red when down. Bar codes on each table you have to scan to see the menu of the bar or restaurant. The hotel block is built on the ships hull super-structure. Seems to be the way cruise ships are built these days. The use of the promenade deck with lifeboats sitting on the deck and not hanging over your head. Numerous places on this deck also service as an outdoor seating area for speciality restaurants and nice outside space by Eden.
Below is my rambling observations in no particular order.
SHOWS: I attended all the shows, there is the main group of singers and dancers that preformed 3 shows in the main theater which I will call "Troupe 1". Then there is a second group of performers who I will call "Troupe 2" who perform in Eden and a show in the Club. Troupe 1's shows were well done but 2 of them need to define a theme. (Chrystaliz and Tree of Life) They need an MC or shall I say a character to provide the glue and insight on what the audience is seeing so it doesn't come off as a Hodge-Podge of singing, dancing. Now Troupe 2 does some strange shows, but they work because we have a Character providing a narration. Two shows, Caravan and Alice in Wonderland were outstanding. However, THE CLUB should never be used as a performance venue. Even with only 1300 guests onboard it couldn't handle it and many many people left disappointed. The sightlines in the 2 story box don't work at all. Use the theater please.
