You should be aware that Celebrity Flora is unlike any other Celebrity cruise. It is an ultra-luxury, all inclusive, location specific expedition ship. What does that mean? Incredible service, incredible food, incredible included shore excursions and tours (they even provided us with wet suits for our comfort while snorkeling!) and all sorts of options. We also enjoyed two nights at the lovely JW Marriott in Quito (tours and transfers included there, too!) pre-cruise, with a final night there before returning home. The weather in the Galapagos couldn't have been nicer than we had in early September. Considering we were on the equator, it was cool and comfortable almost every day. We were never disappointed when out exploring for wildlife. All tours were in groups of 10 people or less. We have sailed Regent, Crystal and Seabourn, among others. Celebrity Flora equalled or exceeded our experiences on those luxury cruise lines. We actually upgraded to a cabin with an "infinity" veranda and a bathtub in the window. We were happy to sit in the "balcony" area with the window closed most of the time, opening it only for breakfast in our cabin. The view is unparalleled. If you can, you should sail on the Flora while the ship is still limiting capacity during the epidemic. The personalized service is worth it. There are things to do at the end of the day, but after morning and afternoon activities, most of us went to bed early to be ready for the next day's adventure.
