This was my first cruise since COVID 19. The Sunrise crew and staff were amazing from service to cleaning and to making everyone feel safe. The ship is beautiful , light and bright. Embarkation was a breeze as was debarkation. And muster drill took 43 seconds at the most. My two friends and I shared a balcony cabin which had ample space, and especially storage. I was clean and the beds were so comfortable. I had honestly not slept that good in a while. Our cabin steward was wonderful and catered to everything we asked for including a fan and ice all the time in our ice bucket. We ate in the buffet only on embarkation day and the food was good. All other meals were either in the dining room, at GUYS FANTASTIC BURGERS or the Blue Iguana Cantina. We also ate at Bonsai Sushi one night and OMG The best Sushi !!! MDR food was ok...typical. We did not see any theater shows but we did watch two movies outside at the dive in movies. We did attend the comedy show. Due to COVID 19 protocols masks were worn in heavily congested areas inside and when walking into the MDR. I thought it would be annoying but in all honestly it was not. The only areas that we normally love but was not able to engage in (our own preference) was the Piano Bar as it was wall to wall people and by mid afternoon the main lido pool. The Casino did get crowded but i just moved to an area of slots where I could play w/o a lot of people around. We did not get off in Nassau but the private island? Half Moon Cay? What a gorgeous day ! We were first on the island and last to leave. Gorgeous, peaceful and did not want to leave. All and all this was a wonderful cruise and I've already booked three more... one on the Conquest, one on the freedom and one on the Paradise. However please note I will be sailing on the Sunrise again . Book her ! You wont regret it.
