Let me start by saying that there was a lot of Good about this cruise. Just not enough.
Had a nice time in Miami prior to my cruise. Embarkation went very smoothly (except they need to put a sign or arrow outside of the COVID Testing room or have an employee standing outside waving people in). Once I found my way into the testing area the process was simple and took about 15-20 minutes.
We were then sent onto security. One of the employees directing people to the appropriate security screening location (One for Suites/Haven and another for everyone else) mistakenly directed me to the wrong line. Thankfully she double checked the list after I questioned her, and she sent us the to Suite/Haven line). Security and password check went quick and smooth (with the usual delay because my wife has a rare and valuable green card with no expiration that confuses most port employees).
We had an AFT facing penthouse Suite with large balcony. (Cabin 10164). Very comfortable cabin. King size bed. Bathroom had a bathtub/shower. The balcony was wide to have two chairs and two loungers (though the loungers could only face sideways). And almost no wind on the balcony. Loved watching the waves and sky. Living space included a small dining are with a table and 4 chairs. Decent amount of closet and storage space.
