We lost several nights of sleep in our interior room because of loud banging and vibration. The sounds were similar to a sledgehammer on steel and happened during rough weather (and we had some). These loud bangs occurred up to 200 times per night depending on size of the waves. The sounds were also heard by several staff members although no solution was ever found.
The buffet was miserable. Guests frequently had to wait up to 10 minutes to get a coffee cup. Seating was extremely crowded and the seating area was dirty. Trays were unavailable to carry food to a table. The tongs used in the buffet required brute strength to operate, hard to pick up food with them. Wait staff wandered around with cleaning rags and totally ignored the dirty tables. I put a bag on the floor under the table while eating and the bottom of the bag was loaded with crumbs and food when I picked it up. The staff at the main dining rooms offered much better service.
The ship's public toilets frequently did not offer toilet paper nor paper towels. Additionally, the hand dryers often did not work.
