Had an absolutely fabulous world cruise on board Arcadia, we have no complaints at all. Every member of staff that we encountered was marvellous and went the extra mile. The speciality restaurants were amazing. Lots of public areas to sit inside and out, also quiet spots to be found if you wanted to read or enjoy the peace and quiet.. Never had to ask our cabin steward for anything our cabin was always fully stocked with all our needs. This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip but we will certainly be doing it again. Although we had 54 sea days we managed to find something to occupy us whether it was listening to the lectures, watching a movie, learning about our next port of call, walking on the promenade deck, spending time in the gym, or the more conventional cruise activities like eating and drinking.The food availability and choice was hard to beat, I don't know how they can cater for the needs of 2000 people over a couple of hours at lunch and dinnertime, I struggle with 6!! On the days we were in port, we had a good idea of what we wanted to do. The staff were very helpful with advice and their own experiences in various ports. This includes waiting staff as well as shore excursion staff. We have no complaints about the actual choice of ports. We thouroughly enjoyed our time both onboard the ship and ashore.We have never had so many complimentry champagne receptions as we did on this cruise, a great way to meet some lovely fellow passangers. We were kept informed of important information on the ship, via the ships tannoy or talks in the Palladium. Some of the acts in the theatre were not our cup of tea but they can not please all 2000 of us all the time, "The Headliners" were our favourites, what a lovely bunch of talented young people with loads of energy.
