Sail Date: Dec 2010

After getting off the plane we collected the cases carrying them to the waiting coaches, then at the port had to drag them in the dark from passport control down steps to the ship ourselves. As we arrived late in the evening we had missed the sit down meal and the show. The cabin had a blocked toilet and smelt of sewage, deep mould in the shower which was a tray and shower curtain next to toilet. We had to pay £12 for the use of the safe and that was not even fastened to anything. No fridge or drink making. Could not join the beds together as the room was long and narrow. Charge for towels if you leave them by swim pool. The vibration from the ship was 24/7 in port or at sea which shook everything and made it hard to sleep. Did not matter where you were on board you felt it.Family swim pool was 7 foot 6 deep. Was drained so they could put balloons in it for New Years Eve party. Life boat drill was two days after we sailed and jackets were thirty years old some with out lights or whistles. All the trips were over twelve hours and around £100 each, we spent £600 on 3.On the days afloat we had the diesel smoke and smell of sewage to put up with. All the ports were industrial working with the dust and noise.

Cabin Review

pity about the sewage problem as the toilets are always getting bloked up, both in the cabin and the public ones on board.
