We embarked on Mein Schiff on 7 th August from Malta to East Mediterranean. We had an inside cabin(quad) since we were travelling with children. Cabin size was adequate though on other cruise liners a cabin of the same category was larger. We were very disappointed with the quality of food. We were expecting the same dining experience that we had on other cruise liners. The fish restaurant was very good but you have to book and it is almost fully booked. Regards activities, almost nothing is organized. No animation or games by the pool,no table tennis tournaments. Since we spent 2 days at sea because we didn't disembark at Mykonos because the sea was a bit rough, it got very boring. Also the ship is not very stable. It moves a lot with the least sea swell. Entertainment in the theatre was quite ok but it was not provided everyday. If someone asks me if I would go on a Mein Schiff cruise again, the answer would be a definately NO. The only thing which is better on Mein Schiff which you don't find on other ships is that most drinks including cocktails are inclusive. In fact, for a non drinker like me, it was the only thing that kept us from being totally disappointed.
