This is my first review... so pardon me if I get too wordy.

My wife & I flew from Portland into Vancouver International Airport on the day the cruise was departing; our flight on Air Canada Jazz was on-time and we cleared customs & immigration in a breeze. (Note: we tried booking train on Amtrak but it was already booked for the day prior to the cruise 6-weeks prior to departure.) as we left the luggage claim area, we were met by NCL representatives who took our three bags and we boarded a bus. The driver gave us a 45 minute tour of downtown Vancouver BC on our way to the ship which was very nice.

We arrived at the port terminal & was through security check in no time. We then waited maybe 5-minutes to check-in and get the cabin keys and our vacation was set to begin.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

Cabin OG

Our cabin 5006 was small but cozy for my wife & I. We were quite happy with its size. The location did cause noise in the cabin & awful vibration in the bathroom area as the ship docked the first morning in Nanaimo BC. But it did not happen again. The storage shelves and closet space was adequate for my wife & I. If we were on a 10 day cruise, we'd pack differently & do laundry one day mid-cruise. But for seven nights, storage was very adequate. We even had our porthole window cleaned while in San Francisco. And the 110 outlet worked fine for us. And our cabin steward was fabulous! We had questions, he had answers... he was AAAAA+++++.
