The port itself is very clean and has some great staff members. The pool was fun and although large, I would say it is too small for the amount of cruise guests. It felt super crowded. The kids splash area is also fun but very small. Then you get nickeled and dimed. I expected to have to pay to rent an umbrella; however, you also have to pay to use the water slide. This is a Carnival-developed port. The shops are rip-offs and sell only cheap Chinese wares. I don't think my party was able to find anything made by locals. I also expect Carnival gets a (high) percentage of the profits. You cannot find any cigars for sale except in the duty-free store at prices higher than you'll pay your neighborhood shop.
