Pretty Much Perfect

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Star Pride

This was our 5th cruise, all previously on the Windsurf. We wanted to try one of the Windstar motor yachts and were pleased by the itinerary and departure from a U.S. port. Embarkation was seamless. And, although we could have encountered seas which were rough due to a storm in the area, it was exceptionally calm for the entire sailing. The Star Pride is a gorgeous small ship - and only 180 ...

We took this cruise to celebrate my 39th birthday. This was my first cruise since my diagnosis so i was prepared to only have a few things available to eat but boy was i wrong!!! This cruise turned out to be the best one we have ever been on, and it wouldn't have been possible without the staff kicking butts and taking names (and food and drink orders) the entire time! Ship: 3/5 The ship is ...

Overall, the cruise was great with interesting and scenic ports. The ship offered several communal spaces with lots of activities. Great food and service! Biggest complaint was timing and/or lack of evening shows. Pros: Good Windjammer buffet but would like more variety at lunches. Service in MDR was outstanding. Initial cabin requests were handled quickly and our room steward was efficient and ...

Mostly the itineraries and the port being so close to home! Every port was amazing especially Quebec City and the added overnight due to the hurricane! Excellent choice to keep us safe! We also had the best Cruise Director ever Manuel I don’t think he ever sleeps he was truly the greatest of all our 60 cruises. We also enjoyed every show very different each evening Karen Granger was a gem! Brandon ...

One week being pampered in Atlantic Canada

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Zuiderdam

This was only our second cruise so we let our travel companions pick the cruise since they have much more cruise experience. The Zuiderdam is an older cruise liner as were the patrons so we felt right at home. The amenities on the ship were perfect and we enjoyed room service breakfast every morning and the food was fantastic. In the evening we enjoyed the main dining room and serving us at table ...

I wanted to explore the ports in Canada and New England where I had never been before. Really enjoyed the food, the service, the spa and the Music Walk. The classical duo, a cellist and pianist from Las Vegas, were phenomenal. I also enjoyed the ocean band, the cocktail pianist, and the other pianist. They were all top notch. My cabin stewards took great care of me. This was my first solo ...

This cruise was the second on the new American Eagle and it was wonderful. The ship is modern decor and has a lot of space in the lounge and dining areas. The dining area is set up with many tables having window views and also noise reduction. Lounge areas are well placed on the ship and the outdoor grill is a new feature. The trip was excellent and we were able to spend time at ...

We discovered American Cruise Lines in 2014 with a trip on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. We have just completed our 15th cruise on a brand new ship, the Eagle, and have never been disappointed. This cruise, the Cape Codder, was fromBoston to Boston with stops Through out New England (Gloucester , Mass Maritime Academy, New Bedford, Martha’s Vineyard , Provincetown and Plymouth). It was the ...

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on American Eagle (ACL)

I chose this cruise because it covered a part of the United States I had never seen and it was going to stop in Plymouth, MA. As a descendant of a young man, Edward Doty, who came to America on the Mayflower I wanted to see and visit Mayflower II and Plymouth rock. Added to this we were to sail on the maiden voyage of the American Eagle. Very exciting. The ship itself was spotless, the help ...

Wanted to see the New England area and could only do it on a small ship. Very quaint, good food and staff….will probably sail with them again. Very different than the large ships, nice and easy with no crowds, and easy to get around….since ship is small (only 100 passengers) you don’t have to walk a mile to get to dining room, your room, public spaces….everything is close…ship was brand ...
