We did a panoramic excursion here and it was disappointing. The Hassan II mosque is impressive, but otherwise the city left us underwhelmed. ...

Casablanca is a large city and the financial center of Morocco. You must bring your passports with you when in Morocco. It's a long walk down the pier. We took a free shuttle bus out of the massive industrial cruise port to a square in the center of the city. We were greeted by many insistent tour operators and taxi drivers who are pretty pushy. A taxi took us to Hassan II mosque where we had a ...

We had seen the sights of Casablanca before, so we opted for the excursion to the Portugese fortress city of El-Jadida. We got to see the coastal countryside south of Casablanca that we had not seen on our previous visit to Morocco; the history of the town, and how it has developed in more recent years were interesting to learn. ...

We took the MSC excursion to Casablanca and Rabat. It was an 11 hour day with an excellent guide and a superb lunch included. We saw all the main sights, visited the huge Mosque and then travelled on to Rabat which is a total contrast to Casablanca and not to be missed. A great day. ...

Other than the outside of the opulent mosque, to me this was not a very nice port. The open market stunk, the streets were dirty, sad beggars displayed their physical defects downtown in hope of getting money, and there was also the heartbreaking sight of homeless cats and kittens lying everywhere on the pavement. I do not recommend a journey to "Rick's Bar", even if you saw the movie. ...

I did an excellent tour to Rabat and Casablanca. The only bits I didn't enjoy were the food market in Casablanca, which could easily be excluded from the tour, and the lunch, which wasn't great and was chaotic, but then Morocco is a developing country so you can't expect 5-star food. It was fine overall and our guide was really impressive and knowledgeable. The Hassan II Mosque was the real ...

Casablanca itself is not much to look at. Many of the buildings show mildew and need to be cleaned. We toured the Hassan II mosque. It is a huge, beautiful and impressive building which was well worth seeing. Tour guide was excellent. ...
