This port was gross visually and when you got on land you were harrassed aggressively by the locals. ...

Not much to do around the cruise port. It looks like a convenient stop for shorter cruise but not up to the big caribbean ports. ...

There's a little shopping area right outside the ship with some local vendors. We did the Viva Wyndham excursion. It was about a 20-30 minute drive and the driver tells you about the area. We rode a double decker bus, enclosed on bottom and open on top. Someone mentioned to bring a water proof lanyard for your room key and I did. I thought that was a nice suggestion. You don't need your passport ...

I would highly recommend sticking with an excursion booked with the cruise line you are sailing on in this port as the port is far from activities and is located in an industrial ...

Do yourself a favor, and book a trip to Paradise Cove / Deadman reef. The snorkeling is out of this world. We saw sea turtles everywhere, stingray, coral, dozens of fish species, etc. It is not an excursion offered by NCL, and as a result is significantly cheaper ($50 a person). ...

Second time to Freeport and unless you like Senior Frogs or have an excursion booked, don't waste your time getting off the ship. We decided to walk to Pinders Point lighthouse. Don't waste your energy! ...
