Guadeloupe was the worst port. Very confusing people disembarking and others embarking here.Language problem, very few spoke English. We went on an eco sailing and snorkel tour and it was great - not much room on the zodiac boat but the guides were really friendly and helpful. Real rough place. Sidewalks uneven and libel to cause a twisted ankle. People were friendly, but it's a place where English is barely spoken. The Tourist Bureau was really great and they spoke English perfectly. Be cautious about your surroundings and your direction, or you might end up lost. A poor area. A good place to buy spices.
