Very good laid back private island. Just wish we wouldn't need to hassle with tender boats in the future. ...

This island owned by Holland America. Safety guaranteed and a nice welcome to ports. Tender in and no need for an excursion as everything is included. That said, the water was surprisingly cold but the rest was awesome tho a bit 'fake' (like the grounded pirate ship) but met the purpose. ...

Had never been to Half Moon Cay. Did not have any excursions planned. Our plan was to lay on the beach and be lazy with some drinks, and that's just what we did. The fact that it is a tender port is still somewhat obnoxious, waiting for the boat to take you to the beach- we did not get to the beach until 11am or so since we were in group 24. They served a complimentary lunch on the beach and it ...

HAL needs to re-train (in our opinion) some the staff on the island. HMC is such a great asset for the company and should reflect better service standards. The process for getting a reserved clamshell on the beach is chaotic and unorganized for first timers (we were not). There is no good signage regarding where to go to "sign in" and the personnel are not great at communicating at all. ...
