Overcrowded nightmare!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Euribia

I had travelled with n big ships before. But the MSC Euribia was a big disappointment. We were excited about sailing in a new ship. But the Euribia turned out very disappointing regarding the common areas, space, entertainment and dinning choices. For a ship carrying 6,000 passengers, the pools and jacuzzis were not enough (2 pools and 6 whirlpools). It is the same as trying to fit 40 people in a ...

Great Cruise Line - If you like to do it on the cheap!

MSC was chosen by a travel director thru family members. It was only a 4 day cruise. We had fun as a family, but there were too many negatives to go on this line again. We are not that experienced - 2 Norwegian and 1 Carnaval. The ship itself was ok, lots of mirrors for some reason, make it look bigger? Staff works hard to keep place clean and operational. Best part of the operation. ...

Terrible food but beautiful route

When one doesn’t eat well, one doesn’t travel well. We have to say that this was the worst cruise (of 7) that we’ve been on from the food perspective. For Italians, this should be seriously embarrassing. If you’re going to take this cruise due to the route or timing, then best go for the pizza at their payable afternoon-only restaurant La Nostra Pizza. It won’t be your best pizza, but it’s ...

We will not travel MSC again

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Seaview

We did choose this cruise because of the opportunity to embark without needing to fly. Embarking protocols were very strict, which is very good. A covid test was done, you had to wait and when you were negative, you could embark. Since we are vaccinated twice, lack of social distancing when queing for checking in, did not bother us. Once on board, the teens we were travelling with went ...

Unethical practices and poor customer service

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Seaview

To Whom it May Concern: On July 3rd my family and I embarked on a MSC Seaview of the Baltic departing from Kiel, Germany. This was our second cruise with MSC. The critical aspects of the cruise to include much of the staff, condition of the boat, and ports of call were all positive. Nonetheless, I do not plan to sail with MSC again in the future due to the management-level interactions I ...

This was a winter break away. The check in was straight forward. No major problems. Inside the ship, you scan your sea pass card at a machine and authorize €250 to b taken as on board credit. The first night, the food was abhorrent. Our waiter James from India was quite quick with service. The dining room is all on one level. The headliner show was a magician who made animal shapes ...

Costa Pacifica...NEVER Again

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Costa Pacifica

Boarding: boarding in Kiel took hours. I’m new to cruising, but it seemed rather disorganized with little possibility for seating. The terminal in Kiel was an uncomfortable , utilitarian facility. None of the screens were working, Costa Personnel were walking around with signs to tell people which groups were boarding. Ship’s decor: the ship has a musical “theme” which is so tasteless and ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Preziosa

We did a 7 day Baltic cruise on the MSC Preziosa from Kiel and are very disappointed. MSC did a bad job. The staff was obviously not trained, too few crew members had to deal with chaotic scenes in overcrowded bars and restaurants. Some weren't friendly and not guest oriented due to overwork. Embarking and disembarking did not work well, too less security points and staff. The ship could not leave ...

BEWARE OF DAILY FALSE CHARGE!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Costa Pacifica

Daily, each passenger is charged 10€ for "tips". On the first day, I asked what the tips went for, and I was informed that they were given to those people who provided services: busboys, waiters and waitresses, bartenders, food servers, cabin cleaners. GOOD! These professions are often underpaid and many people do not tip for those services. The day before my cruise ended, I asked one of the ...
