Having enjoyed previous cruises with P&O and the itinerary suited our need to celebrate a birthday, we booked a cruise to Spain and Portugal. The ship is beautiful but the quality of the food and the service has declined over recent times. The daytime entertainment was poor with most events designed to 'sell' rather than entertain! We got a good deal on this ship and needed to use 5 days leave-had cruised on the Magnifica a few years so thought it would be good as a new ship. We took a mid section balcony on Deck 12 and apart from the really hard pillows, the cabin was well equipped but tight for space. Had cruised on Ventura pre covid and 10 plus other cruises, reasonable standard not wow but ok . Now its standards have fallen so far, cost cutting to the bones ferry companies provide better.
