Carnival is not FUN or worth the money

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Horizon

Just got off the Carnival Horizon april 2024. I have been on other Carnival cruises in the past and this was a shock. Carnival is not a cruise ship, it is drunken party boat. The atmosphere on the ship makes you wonder if some of the passengers had ever been taught manners. Carnival has cut so many corners that they have gone down hill fast. The ship is not kept clean. Walking around you see more ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

our 21st cruise. 7th on Celebrity going back to the Century. Sadly our cruising days are over. We booked late so got an inside room on deck 2. It was dirty, missing towels and Kleenex unit our 2nd day. There was no Captain Club welcome, nothing. The ship is worn. How is it a 23 year old ship is still sailing when the beautiful Century got scraped years ago? We easily got into anytime dining at ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

I’ll start this review by saying I am a very experienced cruiser with status on Disney, Royal and Carnival and this was my first and probably last Celebrity cruise for a while. Starting on a positive note with pros - the interior of the ship was redone during COVID so the rooms are very pretty. We went during a peak week so we did 2 ocean view cabins on the third deck and they were very ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

The food is just awful, no other way to describe. Tbe rice in the buffet put a whole new level of Al dente. Buffet is tge worst, hard to believe any chef would put that stuff out. The chairs in the Stardust are worn out, you sink so low hard to get out. Our room was clean and the bed moderately comfortable. The decks could use some paint, rusted and paint chips on the floor. Crew in the ...

Far from what we expected from 6 Star Cruise Line.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Grandeur

It all started when we arrived in Miami from Knoxville, TN. The Regent representative was amply notified of my requirement to utilize a mobility scooter. I was completely transparent about the scooter by sending the specification sheet that shows all the necessary weight, height and width of the equipment. At the MIA airport, which is far from my favorite, the Regent reps led us to the shuttle ...

Too many people not enough to accommodate

This was my first Cruise and I had a hard time from the very beginning. First I was crossing the street to get into the lobby of Encore Norwegian to catch the ship. I was almost run down by the crossing guard. Second did not know i could leave my luggage at terminal. I struggled to bring them to the 10th floor of my cabin. 3rd I called for room service only to be told to call Housekeeping and when ...

MSC the check the box cruiseline

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seascape

User Avatar

MSC Check the box cruiseline! Overall it’s the appearance of service: MSC goes thru the motions of offering services. They are forcing more and more things to the APP which does not work most of the time, hard to find things, will not let you complete a task and requires you to scan codes for every bar and restaurant for menus. Want to go to a show or book a restaurant – use the APP. ...

Choose a different ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sun

This ship isn't meant for any bad weather. You feel EVERY wave and they often miss ports due to the inability to stabilize. Also, there are no adult only hot tubs so you better love sitting with kids packed in and splashing. The shows weren't worth the time. The comedian just complained about his ex wife at both shows. The swimming with pigs was terrible. Expect to walk several miles to get to ...

Cost- cutting evident; tired ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sun

User Avatar

6-10 Cruises • Age 40s

We took my parents for their birthday on the Norwegian Sun…they live in Florida and wanted to sail out of Miami or Ft Lauderdale. I had limited vacation time, and didn’t have many other options to book, so this cruise checked the boxes. We normally sail on Azamara or Celebrity, so we kept an open mind for NCL, knowing it might be a different product. We knew it would be an older ship, but as ...
