Our favourite port by far. Plaka, the archaeological museum in Plaka amazing - just knock very loudly on the front door or you will think it's closed. Site of Venus de Milo, the amphitheatre and catacombs are all easy on the local bus from the bus station just 2oometres from where the tender drops you off. Sarakiniko beach is possible as well on the local bus. Don't forget the mining museum! ...

Milos is a beautiful island without a major cruise port or tourism. It’s a sleepy relaxing place with a welcoming people that haven’t been overwhelmed with tourism. The geology and natural sights are worth stopping for. It’s easy to drive, and many rent ATVs to explore or take a bait out to the Sea Caves. If you have a chance to go here, don’t skip it. ...

Nothing really to see where you dock other than boats. I joined a group for a private boat tour of the island with food on board which was lovely but the ships own tour did much more and was cheaper - in retrospect the ships tour was the better option ...
